Ottawa Valley Nature Fix  “Inspiration to get out in nature” -September 2020

Timeline for Completion: September Events

Objective:

We are offering a couple of group events this month;

September 13 – Paddle on the Little Mississippi River 9:30 am
Put-in is at the bridge over the Little Mississippi, on the Burnt Bridge Road, 10 kilometers south of Palmer Rapids. Water access at the bridge is limited so please park away from the water and carry your boat (people will be glad to help). Paddle to last ~ 5 hours, be prepared for the weather and bring water and a lunch.

September 20 – Paddle on the Muskrat River to Mud Lake 10:30 am
Put-in is at the bridge over the Muskrat River on Highway 17 at the base of Meath Hill. Bring a lunch

September 27 – Walk in the Shaw Woods, East Side Trail 9:30 am
2065 Bulger Road, North Algona Wilberforce Township – Google Maps (Shaw Woods Outdoor Education Centre)
